Physical Inventory Scan Errors Report

Purpose: Use this report to review items counted using the RF Physical Inventory Multiple Item Scan Screen that were placed in error. See Entering RF Physical Inventory Counts by Multiple Item.

How to print: On the Physical Inv Select Screen, enter 4 in the Option field and select OK or press Enter to accept the physical inventory count. The system transfers the records for the count from the Physical Inventory Upload New table to the Physical Inventory table. Any records in the Physical Inventory Upload New table that are in error are removed from the table and print on this report.

This report sorts in warehouse, location, and UPC or short SKU sequence.

Contents:

Control #: The control number for the physical inventory and the batch number for which you entered the item count.

Count #: Indicates whether the count is the first, second, or final count.

Warehouse: A code for the warehouse where the physical inventory was performed.

Location: A code for the location where the item was counted.

Item: The item code for the item in the location that was counted. This field is blank if the system could not determine the item based on the UPC code or short SKU code that was scanned.

SKU: The SKU code for the item in the location that was counted. This field is blank if the item does not contain SKUs or if the system could not determine the item/SKU based on the UPC code or short SKU code that was scanned.

UPC: The UPC code for the item in the location that was counted.

Short SKU: The short SKU code for the item in the location that was counted.

Count: The count entered for the item/SKU in the specified warehouse and location.

Error: The reason why the Physical Inventory Upload New record was in error. Error reasons are:

Invalid UPC: The UPC code scanned was not valid.

Invalid Short SKU: The short SKU code scanned was not valid.

Item not included in selection criteria: The Item Selection Used field in the Physical Inventory Batch table is Y, indicating you generated the physical inventory by item status or item cycle count, and the scanned item is not part of the generated physical inventory. Item exists in a different physical batch: The scanned item is part of a different physical inventory batch. See Generating the Physical Inventory and Generate Physical Inventory Screen.
