Addl Pick Label Printer ID (L66)

Purpose: Use this screen to define the default printer ID to print additional pick control labels.

System name field: Enter the ID of the default printer to print additional pick control labels through Printing Additional Pick Labels (PAPL) or Working with Pick/Pack Verification (WPPV). This system control value is required to generate a barcode label to a Zebra printer.

Used when? The system checks this system control value only if the Pick Label Print Program (F28) is set to RFPRINT.

User override? If you specify an override printer for a user for a Label type of PAD at the Work with User Label Printers Screen, the system prints the labels using this override printer.

Differences from regular printer: If you print additional pick control labels to a Zebra printer, the generated labels do not include the ship-to name and address. Also, the labels print immediately, and are not available for review in a separate browser window or at the Forms Management screen. See the Pick Label Print Program (F28) for sample labels.

Required property settings: In order to print additional pick labels to a Zebra printer, you need to complete the following settings in the LabelPrinters Properties:

PADDL_PTR specifies the printer’s IP address if the PRINTER_CONNECTION setting in Working with Cloud Properties (CPRP) is TCP.

WPADDL_PTR specifies the printer’s name when it is set up as a Windows Print Service if the if PRINTER_CONNECTION setting in Working with Cloud Properties (CPRP) is WIN.

PICKADDL_CSV_FILE specifies the label format definition file

Leave this field blank if you do not need to print additional pick control labels on a Zebra printer and if the Pick Label Print Program (F28) system control value is not set to RFPRINT.
