Adding rewards
Rewards are benefits received by completing activities or redeeming points.
To add a reward:
- In Control Center, navigate to Rewards > Rewards.
- Click Add Reward.

Configure the details for your reward:
- Basic Information
- Reward Title: Specify the title of the reward.
- Reward Category: Specify the category for the reward.
Partner: Select a partner, if applicable.
Tip: When a partner is disabled or deleted, any rewards associated with that partner are also disabled automatically. However, if a disabled partner is enabled again, the associated rewards are not enabled automatically. The loyalty manager has to enable the associated rewards manually.
- Reward Image: Click Select Image to upload an image of your reward. You can add multiple images by clicking Add Another Image.
- Reward Description: Provide a description of the reward.
- Point Value: Specify the point value of the reward.
- Reward Type: Choose one of the following reward types:
- Standard: Traditionally physical product or swag that is redeemable by members and traditionally fulfilled manually by clients. Standard can also be used for any other reward type that can be fulfilled through the client, such as donations.
- Download: Digitally downloadable rewards upload by the client. Maximum size is 25MB and allowable formats are png, jpeg, zip, gif and pdf.
- Sweepstakes: Random drawing rewards, traditionally used for high value physical product/swag or experiential giveaways
- Codes: Digitally delivered rewards codes (% off, $ off, etc..) that are created by the client and redeemable by members online/in-store within the client’s ecosystem or across client partners (Lyft, Uber, Blue Apron etc anything goes!)

- For Standard rewards:
- Quantity
- This reward has no variations: Choose this option if the reward has no variations (ex: multiple colors, sizes etc).
- Quantity: Specify the number of rewards that are available.
- Reference ID (Optional): You can provide a reference ID to map the reward to internal or fulfillment related processes if you want.
- This reward has multiple variations: Choose this option if there are variations for this reward. Click Add Variation to add as many variations as you need.
- Size: Specify the size of this reward.
- Color: Specify the color of this reward.
- Reward Quantity: Specify the number of rewards that are available.
- Reference ID (Optional): You can provide a reference ID to map the reward to internal or fulfillment related processes if you want.
- This reward has no variations: Choose this option if the reward has no variations (ex: multiple colors, sizes etc).
Low Quantity Alert
Program default (disabled): This feature is turned off by default.
Custom: Enable this option to specify email addresses to be notified when reward inventory gets below a specific threshold.
Send emails to: Enter up to ten email addresses that will receive the notification.
When any variation quantity reaches: Select the level of variation, if the reward has variation.
Disabled: Select this to turn off notifications for this reward.
- Redemption
- Limit the number of times a member can redeem this reward in a given period: Enable this option to limit the number of times a member can redeem this reward in the specified time period.
- Limit the overall number of times a member can redeem this reward: Enable this option to limit the total number of times a member can redeem this reward.
- Shipping Address: Specify whether or not a shipping address is required to redeem this reward.
- Phone Number: Specify whether or not a phone number is required to redeem this reward.

- For Download rewards:

- Reward Quantity: Specify the number of rewards that are available.
- Reference ID (Optional): You can provide a reference ID to map the reward to internal or fulfillment related processes if you want.
- Shipping Address: Specify whether or not a shipping address is required to redeem this reward.
- Phone Number: Specify whether or not a phone number is required to redeem this reward.
- Duration
- Start and Start Time: Specify the date and time in which you want this reward to become active.
- End and End Time: Specify the date and time in which you want this reward to become inactive.
- No end date: Choose this option if you want the reward to remain active without an automatic end date.
- Enable this reward: Choose this option to make this reward active.
- Redemption
- For Sweepstakes rewards:
- Entries
- Limit the number of times a member can enter this sweepstakes in a given period: Enable this option to limit the number of times a member can enter this sweepstakes in the specified time period.
- Limit the overall number of times a member can enter this sweepstakes: Enable this option to limit the total number of times a member can enter this sweepstakes.
- Number of Winners: Specify the number of winners for this sweepstakes.
- Reference ID (Optional): You can provide a reference ID to map the reward to internal or fulfillment related processes if you want.
- Shipping Address: Specify whether or not a shipping address is required to redeem this reward.
- Phone Number: Specify whether or not a phone number is required to redeem this reward.
- Age Restriction: Specify the minimum age to enter or choose none.
- Duration
- Start and Start Time: Specify the date and time in which you want this reward to become active.
- End and End Time: Specify the date and time in which you want this reward to become inactive.
- Entry Deadline Date and Entry Deadline Time: Specify the date and time in which entries must be submitted.
- Enable this reward: Choose this option to make this reward active.

- For Code rewards:

Require members to agree to Terms and Conditions when redeeming this reward: Enable this option if you want to require that members accept the terms and conditions prior to redeeming the reward. Click Upload to provide your terms and conditions document in PDF format.

- File Upload: Click Upload to provide the file that is offered as the reward. Maximum file size is 25MB and allowable formats are png, jpeg, zip, gif and pdf.

- Coupon Codes: Click Add File to upload a CSV file containing your coupon codes. These codes can be a string of characters, or URLs hosted on your website. Note: Pending files take up to 1-2 hours to become active.
- Display Coupons As: Choose Plain Text or URL.

Members must be at the following tier or higher to see this reward: Specify the minimum tier for this reward. If the member does not meet the minimum tier requirements, you can choose to hide this reward or show this reward as locked.

- Members must complete a certain activities to unlock this reward: Enable this option if the member must first complete the specified activities prior to being eligible for the reward.
- Prerequisite Activities (Optional)
- Members must complete certain activities to unlock this reward: Enable this option if the member must first complete the specified activities prior to being eligible for the reward.
- Select Activities: Select the activities that must be completed before the reward is unlocked.
- Number of Times to Unlock: Specify the number of times the activities must be completed before the reward is unlocked.
- Members must complete certain activities to unlock this reward: Enable this option if the member must first complete the specified activities prior to being eligible for the reward.
- Additional Data (optional): Click Add Entry to add additional data.
Name and Value: Specify the name and value for the additional data. This additional data can be used for reporting purposes.
- Basic Information
- Additional Languages (optional): Click Additional Languages (top-right) to provide reward name and description translations.
- Select the language from the drop-down.
- Reward: Specify a name for this reward in the selected language.
- Reward Description: Provide a description for this reward in the selected language.
- Click Continue to Preview to review the details of your new reward.
- Click Complete.
