Integrating with Oracle CrowdTwist

When you integrate CX Audience with Oracle CrowdTwist, you can use loyalty data from CrowdTwist to build audiences in CX Audience.

When the integration is set up, you can use the following CrowdTwist data in CX Audience:

  • CrowdTwist user profiles
  • CrowdTwist user activity
  • CrowdTwist user redemptions

Note: The integration process takes about 5 business days to complete.

Integrating with CrowdTwist involves the following steps:

When the integration is complete, you can start Using CrowdTwist data in CX Audience.

Stage 1: Data Import Information

This stage involves matching the profile list and column data from CrowdTwist to CX Audience.

To complete data import information:

  1. From the CX Audience home page, click the navigation menu (Navigation menu icon), and then click Account.
  2. Under Account summary, click Integration settings.
  3. Click the CrowdTwist tab.
  4. Select a profile list from the drop-down list for Profile list in CX Audience that CrowdTwist data should be available in. When selecting a profile list, review any lists that are tagged as Recommended as some of the lists may not be suitable for the integration. If you select a list that is not tagged as a recommended selection, a warning message will display confirming your selection.
  5. Important: If CX Audience is already integrated with Oracle Responsys, then the Responsys profile list will be highlighted as the recommended list to use.

  6. Under Column name, select the column from CrowdTwist that will be used to merge records.
  7. Review the integration settings and click Save.

Stage 2: Table/Job creation

After saving the changes, a success message will display: Success - Stage 1 completed. Under Stage 2: Table/Job creation, you will see the following message: Table/job creation is in progress. It's safe to leave this page and check status later. This is an automated process for CX Audience and needs to be completed before you can move on to stage 3. When you see the success message for stage 2, you can then move on to stage 3 of the integration setup.

Stage 3: Integration information

To complete this stage, work with your CrowdTwist Account Manager to connect CrowdTwist and CX Audience.

To complete this stage for CrowdTwist:
