CX Audience combines behavioral and profile data to create segments and targets.

Manage and enrich data: Bring all of your marketing data into one place with CX Audience – profile and behavioral data, digital channel data, sales orders, offline channel responses, and the like. Using the Data features, create or import a full customer profile, including customer attributes and customer behaviors. Enrich your customer profile with demographic data from Datalogix (Oracle Data Cloud), an optional but powerful add-on feature of CX Audience.

Explore and segment customers: Model your audience using CX Audience's business user-friendly and graphical Audience Designer. Get audience counts in seconds/minutes, and adjust your audience to balance reach and impact. To use your audience for targeting in campaigns and marketing programs, publish your audience to your marketing system, such as Oracle Responsys.

Analyze audience performance: Use Audience Insights reports pre-campaign to analyze past performance and find the right target audience. Post-campaign, evaluate audience performance to see if your campaign objectives were met.

Five steps to using CX Audience

  1. Bring in your marketing Customer Data: customer contact Lists, customer Profile Extension data that has a 1:1 relationship with your customers, and Custom Tables containing data that has a many:1 relationship to your customers. Integrations provide additional data: Responsys provides your customer campaign behavioral data, Datalogix adds a rich set of customer demographic data, and Adobe Analytics Data Connectors provides web analytics data.
  2. Create filters for your customer data. Filters get a subset of your List, based on customer profile attributes, customer data attributes, Responsys campaign behaviors, Datalogix attributes, and Adobe Analytics Data Connectors data.
  3. Design an audience based on your filters. Drag and drop filters onto the design canvas, join them with logical operators (AND, OR, and MINUS) to result in your final audience.
  4. Publish your audience locally, so that you can analyze it and make changes, if needed.
  5. Use your audience in one of the following ways:
