App member statuses in the Campaign Canvas

This topic describes the different status messages you can see related to app members moving through your Oracle Eloqua campaign elements. These statuses provide granular, informative, and visible messaging within Eloqua to help bring awareness and insight to the state of records in app steps. This will help you become more aware of what actions Eloqua, and the app, are currently performing.

In the table below, you can find the messages that can display on a canvas step, and learn about the corresponding information for that status.

Awaiting app to process Informational App Service Settings "Step Response" set to "None." N/A  
Authentication required - Reinstall app Error App does not have valid token. No App can be reinstalled in the App Catalog (to access the App Catalog, navigate to Settings > App Catalog).
Invalid app configuration Error Export fails because of an invalid definition or App sets status to invalid. No
  • Verify app service instance configuration.
  • Check App provided logs if available. As an example, the Oracle Sales Cloud Integration app provides logs that include details on failures.
  • Check with App Provider for additional information on error.
  • If investigation by Eloqua is needed submit service request on My Oracle Support.
Eloqua notifying app Informational Eloqua calling the App's Notification URL. N/A Eloqua will retry the Notification URL call over approximately an eight-hour period of time with a backoff strategy of the time between calls doubling after each call.
Being processed by app Informational Eloqua receives 200 level response to Notification URL from App (When Service Setting of "Status of Notification" is set to "Active") OR App sets status to active. N/A This status used to be "Being processed by external service."
Eloqua failed to notify app Error All of Eloqua's calls to App's Notification URL fail. Yes

Status 'Error' set by app Error App sets status to error. Yes
