Using NSPB Sync Post-Processing Plug-ins

NSPB Sync includes the following predefined post-processing plug-ins that you can use to import and process budget data from your Planning and Budgeting:

NSPB - Import Budget Data Using DM to process budget data generated using a data load rule in Data Management.
NSPB - Import Budget Data Using BR to process budget data generated using a business rule.

Important:

These two plug-in scripts are provided to get you started and may not be applicable to your use case. If you want to use these plug-ins, you need to customize them. Also, you need to test your code to ensure the plug-ins work for the data volume you expect on your production account.

To use an NSPB Sync plug-in:

In NetSuite, go to Customization > Plug–ins > Plug–in Implementations.
Expand the Filters area if the filters are not displayed.
In the From Bundle filter, select the bundle ID.

This displays the following NSPB Sync post-processing plug-in scripts:
- NSPB - Import Budget Data Using DM to process budget data generated using a data load rule in Data Management.
- NSPB - Import Budget Data Using BR to process budget data generated using a business rule.
In the Script column, click the script file you want to customize.
On the page that opens, click Download.
Make any necessary changes to the script file. For information, see Creating Custom Plug-ins.

Tip:
Use any plain text editor, for example Notepad++, to open and customize the downloaded script file. When finished, save the script file with a different name.
Upload the plug-in as described in Using Custom Plug-ins with NSPB Sync.
