Generating an Insight on a Trial Balance
With Narrative Insights, you can use generative AI to summarize your Trial Balance. It helps you quickly assess account balances, review debits and credits, and identify unusual postings. The insight provides a summary of account balances, potential risks and opportunities, and accounts that may require reconciliation. It reflects only the filtered data shown in your report.

The Enable Narrative Insights preference on the AI Preferences page controls whether you can generate insights. This preference is enabled by default. For more information, see Managing Narrative Insights Preferences.
To generate an insight on the Trial Balance:

Go to Reports > Financial > Trial Balance (Administrator).

Filter the report to include only the information you want the insight to reflect.

Click the Generate Insight button.
The Narrative Insights dialog is displayed. You can generate the insight again at any time by clicking the Generate Insight button.
Insights may differ each time they're generated, even when you're viewing the same data.
The content in the Narrative Insights dialog is generated using AI. The information provided may not be completely free of errors or fully accurate.
