Transferring Custom and Supplemental Fields to NetSuite Analytics Warehouse

In NetSuite, you can create custom fields to enhance standard records and transactions, and record information specific to your business needs. When you transfer your NetSuite data to the Analytics Warehouse, only some of the standard NetSuite fields are included. To transfer your custom fields and the supplemental standard fields, you need to do it manually on the Data Transfer Setup page. This procedure makes sure you can work with all your NetSuite data in the Analytics Warehouse and build accurate data visualizations for your business.

To transfer custom and supplemental fields data to NetSuite Analytics Warehouse:

  1. Go to the Data Transfer Setup page. For more information, see Setting Up the Data Transfer.

  2. On the Data Transfer Setup page, on the Functional area data subtab, click the Edit icon images/edit.png next to the functional area from which you want to transfer custom or supplemental fields.

    Note:

For functional areas that are not active, click the Select data for transfer button on the Data Transfer Setup page. Then, click the switch button next to them, and click Next.

  3. In the Custom Fields tab, select the custom fields that you want to transfer by checking the box next to the field.

  4. In the Supplemental Fields tab, select the supplemental standard fields that you want to transfer by checking the box next to the field.

    Note:

Use the search bar and filters to make selecting fields easier, especially if you have a long list. Transferring both custom and supplemental fields is optional, choose only the data that you need.

    Important:

You can add or remove custom and supplemental fields for up to 10 different NetSuite source tables at a time. If you need to make changes for more than 10 source tables, complete the transfer for the first set of 10 source tables, then repeat the process for the next set.

Tables selected in a previous transfer session remain selected. You don't need to clear your table selections before making changes for the next set. Change only the selections for the next batch of source tables.

  5. Click Next.

  6. Review the fields you've selected to ensure your data transfer is accurate.

  7. Click Transfer Data.

    Note:

The data transfer starts 20 minutes after you click Transfer Data.
