Creating and sending Outbound Transactions for France
To create and send outbound transactions for France:

Go to Transactions > Invoices.

Create or open an invoice.

Fill in all the required fields related to your Invoice based on your use case, including:

France Structured Notes (EUEI FR E-Document Notes)
-
Third Parties on Invoice/Credit Memo
-
Payment Instructions
-
Document References
-
Delivery Date

On the E-document subtab, make sure the France E-invoicing outbound Invoice/Credit Memo template is selected in the E-document Template field.
Important:Your invoice must comply with the EN 16931 or FR Extended profiles, as well as with all applicable legislation, including commercial law and the French General Tax Code (CGI).

Click Save.

Click Generate E-document. The E-document Status field is set to Ready for Certification.

Click Certify E-document to send the E-document.

Check the E-document Status and E-document Audit Trail fields to see if it's successfully sent for certification.
France E-Invoicing Fields on Transaction
Main France fields include:

France Mandate Type: Scope of the Document regarding E-Invoicing and E-Reporting

France Invoice Type: Type of the Invoice

France Business Process Type: Type of the Business Process Type, related to the Type of Items sold or if the Invoice has been paid already

France E-Document Profile: Defines if the E-Document is generated based on EN16931 or French CTC Extended norm
-
France VAT Due Date Code: Used if the company has opted in for VAT on Accruals.
Adding Structured Notes on Transactions
Structured notes can be added automatically or manually.
Automatic behavior: Notes configured on subsidiary record are copied to transactions.
Manual behavior:

Select subject code (for example, AAB - Mention d'escompte)

Enter text (for example, "Les réglements reçus avant la date d'échéance ne donneront pas lieu à escompte.")
Please note that some structured notes are unique and required.
