Setting Up Contacts for Brazil

Brazil Localization adds specific fields to contact records to enable you to store information from accountants and company partners.
If you have the Brazil Reports SuiteApp installed, NetSuite prints the company partner and accountant information in statutory reports. For more information, see Statutory Reports for Brazil.
Before setting up a contact for Brazil, ensure your role has the required permissions to edit contact records. For more information about contacts, see Contacts.
To set up a contact for Brazil:

Go to Lists > Relationships > Contacts.

Click Edit next to the record you want.

If the contact is an accountant or company partner, in the Federal Tax Registration field, enter the contact's federal tax registration number.

If the contact is a company, enter the Cadastro Nacional de Pessoas Jurídicas (CNPJ) number. Use one of the following formats for the 14-digit number: 00000000000000 or 00.000.000/0000-00.

If the contact is an individual, enter the Cadastro de Pessoas Físicas (CPF) number. Use one of the following formats for the 11-digit number: 00000000000 or 000.000.000-00.

If the contact is an accountant, in the Accountant License Number field, enter their Conselho Regional de Contabilidade (CRC) registration number.

Click Save.
