SCIS 1.0 to 2.0 Upgrade Checklist

Use this checklist for planning and performing the upgrade of your devices to SuiteCommerce InStore (SCIS) 2.0.

  1. Review the SCIS 2.0 release documentation:

    These documents are available in the Help Center and as PDFs. Note that we are also updating the administrator and user guides for SCIS 2.0.

  2. Review your scripts, customizations, and saved searches, making adjustments if needed.

    NetSuite Support (CS), Advanced Customer Support (ACS), or Professional Services (PS) can help determine what, if any, changes to your environment might be needed.

  3. Contact all partners integrated with your NetSuite/SCIS environment to ensure their services are compatible with your SCIS 2.0 workflows.

  4. Enable SCIS 2.0 in a test environment and test your most common use cases.

    NetSuite Support (CS), Advanced Customer Support (ACS), or Professional Services (PS) can assist you with your test plans.

  5. To minimize risk, begin your update by enabling SCIS 2.0 for only a limited number of devices.

  6. Add more devices when you are confident that SCIS 2.0 is performing in your environment as expected.
