Understanding How Accruals are Generated when Multiple Time Rules are in One Time-Off Plan

Sometimes more than one time-off rule apply to an employee within the same accrual period. If both rules accrue proactively, and have different tenures, accruals are generated only when employees are eligible. This means employees can see their entitlement in the Employee Center only when they've reached the tenure period.

Remember that tenure is based on the Start Date for Time-Off Calculations on the employee record.

If you want employees to see their future entitlements, check the Days Available Includes Future Accruals for the Year box on the time-off plan.
