Clearing Virtual Card Account Delinquency and Reactivating the Account

What should I do if I am unable to make a Virtual Card payment because the account appears to be deactivated?

If your account is delinquent by more than 60 days, you will no longer be able to create Virtual Cards to pay your suppliers. Your Virtual Card has been set up with auto pay to automatically deduct your last statement balance in full from your HSBC Online Account.

Ensure there are sufficient funds in the account to pay off the outstanding balance on your Virtual Card statement. You can also make a one-time payment over the phone by calling 1-800-411-9264, where you will be directed to a Virtual Card support specialist.

After the account has been paid in full, the Virtual Card support specialist will reactivate your account so that you can resume using your Virtual Card account.
