Filling Shifts
Starting August 5, 2025, SuitePeople Workforce Management apps that are not using the latest version will automatically be updated.
To safely upgrade to the latest version and avoid interruptions later, complete required actions before August 5, 2025.

When employees can't make it to their shifts, managers can fill shifts quickly in the SuitePeople Workforce Management phone app.
To fill a shift from the SuitePeople Workforce Management phone app, a manager can click on the scheduled shift they want to fill then click the Fill button. From here, they'll see anyone else who can work that job at that location, along with any associated cost difference for filling that shift.
The manager can click on employees to notify them and ask if they can fill the shift, or assign it directly.
Instead of notifying individuals, the manager can notify everyone by clicking the + button at the bottom right. The manager will receive notifications when employees offer to pick up the shift and can choose who to assign it to.
