McAfee Secure

Note:

This information refers to SuiteCommerce or the Aconcagua release of SuiteCommerce Advanced or later.

The SuiteCommerce McAfee Secure extension lets you integrate your Commerce website with the McAfee SECURE service, which checks your site for malware, viruses, phishing attacks, and other malicious activities.

SuiteCommerce McAfee Secure adds the McAfee code required to perform the initial security scan of your site. When this scan is complete, you can configure your site to display the McAfee SECURE trustmark to show visitors that your online store is tested and certified to be safe.

Important:

Web store extensions are only available if provisioned, installed, and activated for a selected domain in your account. For more information, see Commerce Extensions.

To display the McAfee SECURE trustmark on your website, you must complete the following steps:

  1. Install and activate the McAfee Secure extension.

  2. In NetSuite, submit a Cache Invalidation Request.

For more information, see Cache Invalidation Request.

  3. Sign up for a McAfee SECURE plan.

    Go to https://www.mcafeesecure.com/start.

  4. Add your website URL to your McAfee account.

For more information, refer to McAfee support documentation on adding a website.

  5. Configure McAfee Secure.

  6. Submit a Cache Invalidation Request.
