Setting the Actual vs. Theoretical Email Group

The Actual vs. Theoretical Email Group field enables you to specify a group whose members will receive email notification when Shelf-to-Sheet Count records are approved, and their corresponding variance reports are generated. You must have at least one existing group in NetSuite that will be referenced or sourced by the Actual vs. Theoretical Email Group field. For more information, see Working with Groups. Valid recipients are those with email addresses and active group members with access to the subsidiary of the approved Shelf-to-Sheet Count records that the variance reports are based on. The email will include as attachment the CSV file of the variance reports generated.

To Specify the Actual vs. Theoretical Email Group:

1. Go to Setup > Setup Manager > Company > Preferences > General Preferences. Click the Custom Preferences subtab and go to the General section.

2. In the Actual vs. Theoretical Email Group field, select a group whose members you want to receive email notification with attached CSV files of generated variance reports.

   Note:

   Valid recipients are those with email addresses and active group members with access to the subsidiary of the approved Shelf-to-Sheet Count records that the variance reports are based on.

3. Click Save.
