Electronic Invoicing Components for India

The India Localization SuiteTax Engine SuiteApp includes default e-document packages that contain the electronic invoicing components. These electronic invoicing components include the JSON templates and certification-sending method for integration with the GSPs.

The SuiteApp also enables you to create new e-document packages. For more information, see Creating E-Document Packages.

Viewing India Electronic Invoicing Components

To view the e-document packages (India electronic invoicing components), go to Setup > India Localization > Localization Components. The Localization Components page displays the installation status of each electronic invoicing component. Manually install or reinstall the templates as required. However, ensure that you have the latest version of the Electronic Invoicing SuiteApp before installing the templates.

Alternatively, you can also install the e-documents packages using the Localization Assistant SuiteApp. For more information, see Managing the Components of Localization or Partner SuiteApps.

The India Localization Components page displays the following information:

Field

Description

Component Name

This column displays the name of the localization component.

Status

This column displays the current status of the component.

Last Updated Date

This column displays the date and time when the component was last updated.

Last Updated By

This column displays the name of the employee who last updated the component.

Action

This column displays the action you can take on the component.

The following table displays the available statuses that can appear on the Status column of the India Localization Components page.

Description

Installed

This status appears if the component has been successfully installed.

Installation Failed

This status appears if the component has not been installed.

Click the Installation Failed link for more detailed information about the error or consult the installation log for more information.

SuiteApp Unavailable

This status appears if the target SuiteApp where the component needs to be added is not installed yet or has not been updated to the latest version.
