Using the Last Sales Activity SuiteApp

The Last Sales Activity Field

The Last Sales Activity field is shown on lead, prospect, customer, contact, and opportunity records. The field displays the date of the sales activity that was last performed for those records. To see the sales activity record, click the Last Sales Activity link.

The date of each sales activity displayed in the Last Sales Activity field is dependent on their completion status, as listed in the following table:

To refresh the Last Sales Activity field yourself, click Update LSA at the top of the record page.

Sales Activity Reminders, KPIs, and Saved Searches

The Last Sales Activity SuiteApp includes the saved searches shown in the following table. You can use these saved searches to get notifications and summaries for leads, prospects, contacts, and opportunities that haven't had any sales activity in the last week.

Title, Customer, Contact: Name, Contact: Email, Contact: Phone, Status, Expected Close Date, Weighted Amount, LSA Link Name, LSA Link

To view these saved searches, go to Lists > Search > Saved Searches.

To quickly see which contacts haven’t had any sales activity in the last week, add these searches to the Reminders portlet on your dashboard. See Setting Up Reminders.

You can also add these searches as custom KPIs to your KPI portlet. See Setting Up the Key Performance Indicators Portlet.

Using Last Sales Activity Criteria for Searches

You can search for leads, prospects, customers, contacts, and opportunities based on their last sales activity.

You can also define a date filter for a search based on a specific period, such as the last fiscal year any custom date range you want.

To include last sales activity date in a search:

  1. On the Results subtab of the search page, select Last Sales Activity Fields....

  2. In the popup, select Last Sales Activity in the Last Sales Activity Filter field and set the date criteria.

Last Sales Activity Saved Mass Updates

Use the following saved mass updates to find contacts, customers, and opportunity records with outdated Last Sales Activity field values and update them simultaneously:

The Last Sales Activity mass updates are scheduled by the system to automatically run daily. Alternatively, you can run the mass updates at any time to update the Last Sales Activity field on your records. For information, see Mass Updates.
