Support for Simplified System Registration for CAS Users

Starting 2021, Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) RDO/LT Offices will issue an Acknowledgement Certificate (AC) to companies or businesses that registered and submitted complete documentary requirements for using Computerized Accounting Systems (CAS). This is based on BIR Revenue Memorandum Circular (RMC) No. 5-2021, changing, or simplifying the process to register and authorize the use of CAS by companies.

Philippines invoicing features of the Southeast Asia Localization SuiteApp support the changes by providing fields where you can select the document obtained from the BIR for use of CAS and enter other relevant details of the selected CAS document.

In compliance with BIR requirements, the details of the Acknowledgement Certificate you entered will be indicated in the footer of Philippines documents such as receipts or invoices, when you print them.

To indicate Acknowledgement Certificate details on printed Philippines documents:

  1. With OneWorld, go to Setup > Company > Classifications > Subsidiaries. Click the Edit link of the Philippines subsidiary whose transactions you want to include information about the Acknowledgement Certificate.

Without OneWorld, go to Setup > Company > Company Information.

  2. Click the Philippines Invoicing subtab.
