Including Tax Registration Number on Invoice Summaries

The Tax Registration Number field enables you to specify your company’s Tax Registration Number, provided by the tax agency. The Tax Registration Number has 14 characters, beginning with "T", followed by the 13-digit Japan corporate number. The field is available on the Japan Localization Setup subtab on Japan subsidiary records for OneWorld, or on the Company Information page, without OneWorld.

To Include the Tax Registration Number on Invoice Summaries:

  1. Open the Japan Localization Setup subtab:

    • (With OneWorld) Go to Setup > Company > Subsidiaries. Edit a Japan subsidiary whose customers you want to include in the invoice summary, and then click the subtab.

    • (Without OneWorld) Go to Setup > Company > Company Information, and then click the subtab.

  2. In the Tax Registration Number field, enter your company’s Tax Registration Number.

  3. Click Save.

Note:

When you use or apply the default PDF templates for custom transaction forms provided by Japan Localization SuiteApp 2023.1 or later versions, the Tax Registration Number will be displayed under the Customer Name in the invoice summary PDF file.

You should enter the Tax Registration Number because it is required by the Qualified Invoicing System to be displayed on the invoice summary.
