Roles and Permissions for Using the Same-Store Sales Report

By default, any roles can view and generate the Same-Store Sales Report.

Roles that can set up the Same-Store Sales Report Calendar and Preferences are those that use the following centers:

Before these roles can set up the Calendar and Preferences, ensure that they are granted the appropriate permissions by performing the following steps.

To grant a role the permissions to Calendar and Preferences custom records:

  1. Go to Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Roles.

  2. On the Manage Roles page, click the Edit link of the role that you want to grant permissions to.

  3. On the Role page, go to the Permissions subtab and do the following:

    1. Click the Custom Record subtab, and do the following:

      1. In the Record list, add Calendar, Calendar Dates, and Same-Store Sales Preferences.

      2. In the Level column, select Full for the added custom records.

    2. Click the Setup subtab and do the following:

      1. In the Permission list, add SuiteScript and SuiteScript Scheduling.

      2. In the Level column, select Full for both.

  4. Click Save.
