Specifying Payment Methods
Orders that NetSuite Connector posts to NetSuite should use a specific payment method. This payment method decides which account NetSuite uses for the transaction. Most connectors also show which payment method the customer used for an order.
Every payment method in your marketplace or cart (for example, Visa, MasterCard, or PayPal) should have a matching payment method in NetSuite. Some marketplaces (like Amazon) don't make the payment method available, but you still need to create a payment method in NetSuite for that marketplace (for example, a payment method called 'Amazon').
You can add new payment methods from Setup > Accounting > Setup Tasks > Accounting Lists > New, and then selecting Payment Method. For more information, see Creating a Payment Method. After you add payment methods, they'll be available on your transactions. For example, on a sales order the Payment Method field is under the Billing subtab, and on a cash sale it's under the Payment subtab.
