Posting a Gift Card or a Gift Certificate as a Payment Method for an Order
An order contains a gift card or gift certificate in one of the following cases:

When a gift card or gift certificate is used to pay for the entire order – In this case, NetSuite Connector shows the gift card or gift certificate as the payment method on the order. You can then map the gift card or gift certificate payment method to a payment method in NetSuite, like any other payment method. When a gift card or gift certificate is used as partial payment on an order – In NetSuite, you cannot have more than one payment methods on an order. But in this case, there is an additional payment method on the order. Therefore, when properly configured, NetSuite Connector sends the gift card or gift certificate to NetSuite as a discount item.
