Order and Fulfillment Sync
To validate the sync, ensure NetSuite has correctly populated the sales order with the following values:
-
Tax total in NetSuite matches the tax total in the marketplace or cart.
-
Order total in NetSuite matches the order total on the order in the marketplace or cart.
-
Line items in NetSuite match the line items on the order in the marketplace or cart.
-
Quantity of line items in NetSuite matches the quantity of line items on the order in the marketplace or cart.
-
All mapped order, item, and customer fields populate as expected, including the tokenized credit card information.
-
If you've mapped shipment and payment methods in NetSuite Connector, they should populate correctly on the order.
If you have made mapping adjustments, update the order in NetSuite to apply the mappings and confirm that the orders are posted correctly. To test, choose orders with an Order Posted, Pending Fulfillment status in NetSuite Connector. If you update orders that are marked Complete, their status will change back to Pending Approval or Pending Fulfillment in NetSuite. Additionally, NetSuite Connector will re-sync the completed order. To update a pending order, follow these steps.
To update a pending order:
-
Log in to app.farapp.com.
-
Select the connector and the relevant account.
-
Go to Data Flows > Orders.
-
Search the order that you want to map by entering the order ID in the Search field and pressing Enter.
-
On the order, click the Action menu (pencil icon) and select Update Order in NetSuite.
After making mapping changes, set the order cutoff date in the Import Orders Created After field on the Order Settings page (Settings > Orders).
For more information, read Initial Order Sync Activation Cutoff Date.
Product or Price/Qty Sync
Before enabling product or price/qty sync, test multiple SKUs with your marketplace or cart to ensure they post correctly. NetSuite Connector uses flag field to control syncing updates for an item.
For information about the flag field, read NetSuite Connector Storefront Flag Fields.
When you first enable product or price/qty sync, try syncing a small subset of items. After confirming the items are synced without any errors, flag the remaining items to sync. To ensure product sync works correctly, check the following:
-
Ensure items are flagged correctly in NetSuite and the flag field mapping in NetSuite Connector is accurate.
-
Verify that the product information from NetSuite to NetSuite Connector is accurate and includes all the details you want to sync to the marketplace or cart.
-
Ensure the data posted by NetSuite Connector appears correctly in the marketplace or cart.
-
Before going live, make sure your inventory is populated in NetSuite before enabling product or price/qty sync.
Note:When updating products using the CSV import in NetSuite, don't check the Run Server SuiteScript and Trigger Workflows box. Only check the box if you don't want to use NetSuite Connector's real-time sync.
You can adjust mappings from the Product Mappings page in NetSuite Connector. Ensure you select the right sync type and category, if available. For custom mappings that need support, contact NetSuite support.
Follow these steps when enabling product or price/qty sync:
-
Flag 100 items to sync.
-
Enable product or price/qty sync.
-
Wait for the 100 items to sync.
-
Confirm that data on several of the 100 items appears correctly in the marketplace or cart.
-
Flag 1000 items to sync.
-
Wait for the 1000 items to sync.
-
Confirm that data on several of the 1000 items appears correctly in the marketplace or cart.
-
Flag remaining items to sync.
Refund Sync (or Amazon Settlement Sync)
To ensure refund sync is working correctly, check the following:
-
For refund sync from NetSuite to your marketplace or cart:
-
Ensure the refund records in NetSuite are linked to the correct orders.
-
Verify that the order is updated in NetSuite Connector and synced to your marketplace or cart.
-
Ensure refunds are posted correctly to your marketplace or cart.
-
-
For refund sync from your marketplace or cart to NetSuite:
-
Verify that when you process a refund in your marketplace or cart, the order is updated in NetSuite Connector and the refund is posted to NetSuite.
-
Verify that the transaction type created in NetSuite matches with what's being synced to NetSuite Connector, that is, refund authorizations, credit memos, or cash refunds.
-
Ensure the data in refund transactions is accurate. For example, amount, quantity, and SKU.
-
You can update the refund sync settings in NetSuite Connector from the Refund Settings page.
Amazon settlement sync is tested using orders that NetSuite Connector has already synced to NetSuite. As a best practice, test settlement report processing a couple of weeks after NetSuite Connector goes live.
