Scheduling a Diagnostic Scan

You can schedule a scan for each process in the FAM Diagnostic portlet. The system will automatically scan each process based on the schedule that you set.

To schedule a diagnostic scan:

  1. Go to Fixed Assets > Setup > System Setup.

  2. On the Diagnostics tab, set the schedule for running scans on each process.

    • Daily — Runs a scan at 3:00 AM everyday.

    • Weekly — Runs a scan at 3:00 AM every Wednesday.

    • Monthly — Runs a scan at 3:00 AM every 2nd day of the month.

    The default schedule of each process is as follows:

    • Precompute Depreciation Values: Weekly

    • Reset Asset Values: Daily

    • Check Missing Summaries: Weekly

    • Check Missing Asset Values Record: Daily

    • Check Missing Lease Contracts: Weekly

    • Check DHRs without Associated Records: Monthly

  3. Click Save.
