To use the Fixed Assets Management SuiteApp
After installing the Fixed Assets Management SuiteApp, you must complete the following setup tasks:

Set up the General Ledger Accounts for Fixed Assets Management.

Set up Fixed Assets General Preferences, Fixed Assets Report Preferences, Fixed Assets Country Specific Preferences.

Set up the Asset Transfer Accounts.

Set up the FAM Diagnostics Portlet to monitor the health of your FAM bundle, from your dashboard.

Assign Depreciation Methods to an asset.

Define Asset Types.

Migrate fixed asset data from your previous system. See Creating Asset Records through CSV Import.
