Email Notification Stages

SuiteApprovals sends email notifications to specific people at these workflow stages:

Record is created or submitted

The next approver (or the submitter’s supervisor) and their delegate approver, if there's one, get an email approval request.

The first approver in the matrix gets an email approval request. If the approver has a delegate, the delegate gets a copy of the email.

If the first approver is a group or role, the email approval request is sent to multiple employees.

Note:

The system doesn't send emails to the group record's email address.

The person who created or submitted the record appears as the email sender.

The person who created or submitted the record appears as the email sender.

Record is rejected

The submitter gets an email notification.

The submitter gets an email notification.

Record is approved

The submitter gets an email notification.

The submitter gets an email notification.

Record is routed
