Lead Notification Email

You can automatically send email to sales representatives when they are assigned a new lead, prospect, or customer who submitted an online customer form. For information, see Assigning Leads.

Access the Online Customer Form page by going to Setup > Marketing > Setup Tasks > Online Customer Forms. Edit the relevant record and click the Set Up Workflow subtab. Check the box for Send Notification Email. Select an email template in the Template for New Leads and Template for Existing Customers fields.

You can create new email templates at Documents > Templates > Email Templates. For more information, see Creating New Email Templates.
