Sales and Purchase Reports Grouped by Tax Code

Important:

International Tax Reports SuiteApp isn't compatible with the SuiteTax feature. If the SuiteTax feature is enabled in your NetSuite account, don't install this SuiteApp.

The International Tax Reports SuiteApp provides the following standard reports that can be used by any country nexus:

You can find these reports at Reports > VAT/GST. You can also create custom versions of these saved reports if you need more columns.

To view sales and purchase reports by tax code:

  1. Go to Reports > VAT/GST.

  2. Select one of the following saved reports:

    • Purchase By Tax Code (Detail)

    • Purchase By Tax Code (Summary)

    • Sales By Tax Code (Detail)

    • Sales By Tax Code (Summary)

  3. At the bottom of the report page, select a tax period.

  4. Select a subsidiary.

  5. Click Refresh to reload the report each time you change the subsidiary or tax period. Wait for the page to finish loading then click Run in Background.

    Important:

    Saved reports in the International Tax Reporting SuiteApp are limited to 25,000 rows. If your report is too big, a truncated report will be generated. At the bottom of the page, you'll see the note “The results of this report are too large. Please narrow your results.” If you want a higher limit, you'll need to file a Support case.

  6. Go to Reports > Scheduled Reports > Report Results.

  7. In the Status column, wait for the complete status and click View to open the report.

  8. You can also click any of the following:

    • Print – to print the report

    • Email – to email the report

    • Schedule – to create a schedule to automatically email the report

    • Export-CSV – to export the report as a CSV file

    • Customise – to create and save a custom version of the report

    • Options – to change viewing and printing preferences

    • Expand – to view all top levels and sublevels of the report

    • Collapse – to view only top levels of the report

    • Graph – to display a graph of current report results
