FSM Operational Tracking
Field Service Management (FSM) supports the recording of work and related transactions, such as, items captured through consumables or sales order flows. It also includes mobile workflows for the Consumables and Sales Order tabs and records.
As an operations manager, you might:

Monitor Unbilled Closed Cases to ensure jobs are invoiced as soon as possible and exceptions are highlighted.

Review job outcomes and confirm that work details, including consumables, time, and other operational data, are recorded as expected.

Watch for cases where mobile caching or refresh behavior could explain outdated dropdown values or inventory options.
Example Use Case
You need to verify consumables, time, and expense capture after a job is completed. You review the Task record to confirm that the technician recorded the expected transactions, such as consumables, time, and expenses, on the task. If a technician reports missing or incorrect item dropdown options in FSM Mobile, ask them to refresh the app. Mobile options may be cached until you refresh the app.
