Support for Microsoft PowerPoint Self-Paced Learning

You can now upload and deliver learning content in Microsoft PPTX and PPSX PowerPoint formats. The learning type defaults to the new Presentation option.

This update enhances content creators' flexibility in the learning materials they can share while ensuring a seamless experience for learners.

Steps to Enable

While you don't need to enable this feature, you do need to enable self-paced learning to use this feature.

Tips And Considerations

• Not all browsers work the same when opening specific file types. You might need to configure Microsoft PowerPoint to open for downloaded PPTX or PPSX files.
• Because learners need Microsoft PowerPoint installed on their devices to open the content, it can't be embedded in the enrollment details page like other content types.
• The older PPT and PPS file types are also supported.
