Manager Edge Agent Enhancements
The source code in the Manager Edge agent is updated by adding succession, which helps managers identify a strong performer in the team with leadership capabilities. The business object in the agent is updated to include text-based questionnaire responses from feedback and check-ins, conversation summary from check-ins, and differentiate between team sync check-ins and other check-ins.
Seeded questions
To help you get started, the agent includes the following seeded questions:
- Who in my team needs support this week?
- What are the common development needs across my team?
- Who in my team would benefit from a quick check-in?
The agent helps managers assess team members with strong performance and leadership capabilities. Here are some sample questions the agent can help you with:
- Which employees reporting to Gloria Spiritas are critical to the organization?
- Assume Gloria Spiritas is moving out of her role? Who can we promote to Gloria’s role?
- What is the readiness status of Thomas Walters?
- Which employees under Thomas Walters do not have a ready-now succession plan?

These enhancements to the Manager Edge agent help managers make informed succession decisions and add more insights about the team by including questionnaire responses, conversation summary, and the ability to distinguish between team sync check-ins and other check-ins.
Steps to enable and configure
- Your environment must have the appropriate services for Oracle Applications Platform deployed. For more information, see FAQ2521 on My Oracle Cloud Support.
- Set the Enable Security Console External Application Integration (ORA_ASE_SAS_INTEGRATION_ENABLED) profile option to Yes and enable permission groups for the appropriate roles. See Access Requirements for AI Agent Studio.

The agents you can view depend on the roles and privileges assigned to you. To access this agent, your role must be explicitly granted access to it by an AI Studio Administrator. See How can I give users access to AI agents and Access Requirements for AI Agent Studio.
To access all applicable Touchpoints features, managers must have appropriate user roles.
