Release Update: NetSuite Enterprise Performance Management Integration SuiteApps

The following NetSuite Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) integration SuiteApps were released on March 18, 2025:

What Is New?

Version 25.1 is the initial version of the Close Management and Consolidation Sync SuiteApp. For information about installing and configuring the SuiteApp, and about the functionality of the SuiteApp, see Close Management and Consolidation Sync Installation and Setup. 

Important:

  • The Close Management and Consolidation Sync SuiteApp requires that you install the NetSuite EPM Connector SuiteApp in your NetSuite account. For instructions on the installation and setup of NetSuite EPM Connector, see NetSuite EPM Connector Installation and Setup.

  • After you install the NetSuite EPM Connector SuiteApp, the NetSuite EPM tab appears in your NetSuite account. If you subsequently install the Close Management and Consolidation Sync SuiteApp, the NetSuite EPM tab will contain the Close Management and Consolidation navigation menus.

You can take advantage of the following new features and changes:

  • Supports the installation of the Close Management and Consolidation Sync SuiteApp. See Close Management and Consolidation Sync SuiteApp.
  • Provides access to your Financial Consolidation and Close environment directly from the NetSuite EPM Access portlet. See NetSuite EPM Access Portlet.
  • Ends support for the NSEPM Implementer role to set up token-based authentication (TBA) for connecting your EPM environment to NetSuite. To set up TBA, use the integration role of an installed NetSuite Enterprise Performance Management integration SuiteApp, or its customized version.

Required Actions

To implement the functionality of the Close Management and Consolidation Sync SuiteApp, take the following actions:

  1. Install and set up the 25.1 version of NetSuite EPM Connector. See NetSuite EPM Connector Installation and Setup.
  2. Install and set up the 25.1 version of Close Management and Consolidation Sync. See Close Management and Consolidation Sync Installation and Setup.

Important: 

If you already have the NetSuite EPM Connector SuiteApp installed and want to install the Close Management and Consolidation Sync SuiteApp, make sure that you first upgrade NetSuite EPM Connector to the latest version (25.1) before proceeding with the installation of Close Management and Consolidation Sync.

Recommended Action

For the NetSuite EPM Connector and Planning and Budgeting Sync SuiteApps, we strongly encourage you to manually install or upgrade the SuiteApps in your Sandbox or Release Preview account. This will allow you to preview the new features and changes before the SuiteApps are automatically pushed to your production account. For upgrade instructions, see the following help topics:
