Set Up Guidance for Custom Objects

Guidance provides automated steps that take actions behind the scenes and follow up when things don't go as planned. You can setup custom objects for use with the Guidance feature.

Follow this example procedure to manually create a custom object, such as Agreements, for use with the Guidance feature, setup the guidance to generate UI pages and add guidance panels for your newly created custom object. The example procedure contains these high-level sections:

1. Create a Custom Object with Child and Other Object Relationships in a New Sandbox
2. Enable the Custom Object for Guidance and Publish the Sandbox
3. Setup Guidance for the Custom Object and Enable for Adaptive Search
4. Generate Visual Builder UI Pages for Your Custom Object
5. Import Files into Visual Builder Studio
6. Enable Guidance Panel and Guidance Subviews and Test the Runtime
