Attach Documents

This action allows you to assign one or more unowned documents to the business object you are working with. A document can only be owned by a single business object. However, a business object can own many documents. If you attach a document to a business object with a Documents tab, such as on a shipment, the attached document appears in the Additional Documents section as an ad hoc document.

Note: The Attach Document action should be used only for the individual documents.

Attaching a Document to a Business Object

  1. Enter the document in the Document field.
  2. Click Save for every document you enter.
  3. Click Attach after you have added all the documents.
