Number of Layers on Transport Handling Unit

The Number of Layers on Transport Handling Unit field defines how many layers of packaged items are in a ship unit specification. You can define this directly on the order in conjunction with the Ship Unit Specification field or you can predefine this relationship in the Material Manager. Your use of this field depends on how you have defined items/packaged items. This field can be used with the Quantity Per Layer field to calculate the ship units needed for the order.
