Trade Transaction Overview

Global Trade Management provides the following methods for creating trade transactions.

  • Oracle Transportation Management Shipment actions and Order Release actions: If you use this method, the shipment object or order release object will be moved to Global Trade Management and labeled as a trade transaction. The action can only be used once on an object.
  • Process Manager: If you use this method, the Oracle Transportation Management shipment object or order release object will be moved to Global Trade Management and labeled as a trade transaction. The action can only be used once on an object.
  • Agent Actions: Two agent actions are available to move Oracle Transportation Management shipments and order releases when the automation agent is triggered. If you use this method, the Oracle Transportation Management shipment object or order release object will be moved to Global Trade Management and labeled as a trade transaction. The action can only be used once on an object.
  • XML integration: External data can be integrated with Global Trade Management via integration.
  • GTM Trade Transaction Manager: This manager enables you to search for existing transactions which match compliance policies. You can also insert transactions into the database and view and/or edit existing transactions. You can also add/modify transaction lines and transaction line controls.
