Hold/Allow Releasing

This action is accessed via Order Management > Purchase Order > Order Base > Actions.

Use this action to control releasing both ship units and line items on an order base by changing the values of the Status Type RELEASE CONTROL. This action toggles the value between ALLOW RELEASING and HOLD RELEASING depending on the current value assigned to the order base.

If the value is set to HOLD RELEASING, no release instructions are processed for the order base regardless of whether release instructions have been created since this value was set. When the value is changed to ALLOW RELEASING, all pending release instructions are processed after you edit and save the order base with non-processed release instructions.
