Reason Groups

This page is accessed via Business Process Automation > Power Data > Status > Reason Groups.

Reason groups are a set of Reason Code Profiles. The name that is defined for the reason group is what appears in the reason list on the Record Reasons page and on the Quick Codes page. The reason group selected on either of those two pages is associated with a reason code profile, which is the list of reason codes to select from.

Adding Reason Groups:

1. Enter a Reason Group.
2. Enter a Name.
3. Select a Domain Name.
4. Enter a Description.
5. Enter a Reason Code Profile.
6. If you use a reason group that includes all or many reason code profiles, then use the Exclude check box to specify which reason code profiles you do not want to include in the reason group.
7. Select a Domain Name for the reason code profile.
8. Click Save for each reason code profile you define.
9. Click Finished.
