A dispatch group is a logical group of work crews located at an operations area. When a field activity is created, the system assigns it a dispatch group based on the type of activity, the type of service point, and the operations area that manages the service point. When you make an appointment, you are booking time with one of the dispatch group's crews to perform one or more field activities located at a premise.
