Defining Failure Components

The Failure Components portal is used to display and maintain failure components.

You can access the portal from Admin, select F, then select Failure Component.

The following zones may appear as part of the portal's Main tab page:

• Failure Component List: This zone lists all failure component records. Broadcast a record to display the details of the selected record.
• Failure Component: This zone identifies the part of the asset which has failed, such as instrument, electrical, mechanical drive, and so on.
• Included on Failure Profile: This zone lists the failure profiles associated with a particular failure component.
