Defining Service History Types

The Service History Type portal is used to display and maintain service history types.

You can access this portal from Admin, select S, then select Service History Type. You are brought to a query portal with options for searching for a specific service history type. Once the service history type has been selected, you are brought to the maintenance portal to view and maintain the selected record.

The following zone may appear as part of the portal’s Main tab page.

• Service History Type: This zone provides information about the service history type, including settings for creating and stopping follow-up actions.
• Unlink Asset Types: This zone displays a list of associated asset types that can be removed from the service history type.
• Link Asset Types: This zone enables a user to search for an asset type and link it to the service history type. Linked assets will display in the Unlink Asset Types zone until removed.
