Adding an Adjustment Selection Criteria in a Construct

While defining a construct, you need to indicate the adjustments that you want to bill through an invoice or settlement account. You can use an existing invoice or settlement account. The system allows you to select a set of adjustments based on the criteria using the adjustment selection template.

Prerequisites

To add an adjustment selection criteria in a construct, you should have:

  • Adjustment selection templates defined in the application

  • Invoice or settlement account defined in the application (in case you want to use an existing invoice account)

Procedure

To add an adjustment selection criteria in a construct:

  1. Ensure that the Include Adjustments zone is expanded while adding, editing, or removing adjustment selection criteria in a construct on the Construct screen.
  2. Click the Add Include Adjustments link at the top-right corner of the Include Adjustments zone.
    The Selection Criteria screen appears. It contains the following fields:
    Field Name Field Description Mandatory (Yes or No)
    Effective Start Date Used to specify the date from when the adjustments in a construct is effective.
    Note: You can either manually specify the date or select it using the Date Picker (The Date Picker Icon) icon corresponding to the field.
    		 Yes
    Effective End Date Used to specify the date till when the adjustments in a construct is effective.
    Note:

    You can either manually specify the date or select it using the Date Picker (The Date Picker Icon) icon corresponding to the field.

    The effective end date of the selection criteria cannot be later than the effective end date of the construct.

    		 Yes
    Priority Used to specify the priority of a adjustments. Yes
    Template Used to indicate the adjustment selection template that defines which adjustments are included in the construct.
    Note: The Search (The Search Icon) icon appears corresponding to this field. On clicking the Search icon, the Template Search window appears.
    		 Yes
    Invoice Account ID Used to specify the invoice account through which the selected adjustments are billed.
    Note: The Search (The Search Icon) icon appears corresponding to this field. On clicking the Search icon, the Account Search window appears.
    		 Yes
    Criteria Description Used to specify the description for the adjustments selection. No
    Sequence No. Displays the sequence of bind variable execution if multiple variables are defined. Not Applicable
    Bind Variable Displays the bind variable (which is used in the where clause). Not Applicable
    Value Used to specify the value for the bind variable. Yes
  3. Enter the required details and click Save.
  4. If you want to add more than one adjustment selection criteria in a construct, click Save and Add New button in the Selection C riteria screen and repeat step 3.
    The adjustment selection criteria in a construct are added.
