March 2021

F30306-03

In the Prerequisites section:

  • Updated the Access Cognos topic to emphasize that to protect study data, you should save reports only in a study folder under the Team content folder. This ensures that users can only see the report data if they have access to the InForm study from which the data is pulled.

In the InForm standard reports section:

  • Updated the Save reports to the Team content folder sparingly topic to emphasize that to protect study data, you should save reports only in a study folder under the Team content folder. This ensures that users can only see the report data if they have access to the InForm study from which the data is pulled. Moved this topic to a more prominent position in the section.
  • Added a new Options for saving reports to the Team folder topic that describes the available options for saving reports to the Team folder, and the associated cautions for each.

November 2020

F30306-02

In the What if section, updated the following topics to explain that for SSO and non-SSO studies, when you log out or are timed out of InForm, your Cognos session, which is in a separate tab in the same browser window, is invalidated as result. There is no notification provided for this. Any unsaved changes in Cognos are lost. When you attempt to perform an action in Cognos, the Cognos log in page appears and you need to enter your InForm study credentials (user name and password) and the InForm study name.

In the CRF Signature Status Report topic, updated the Type column description to make clear that the report provides both CRF level and Book level signatures.

Added this Revision History topic.
