Delete Messages in Patient Portal

If your Patient Portal includes message options, you can delete any message you receive. Deleted messages are archived in a Trash folder.

To delete a message:
  1. From the inbox, select a conversation.
  2. Select Reply.

    Note:

    Not all messages allow responses, depending on your organization's settings and the age of the conversation. If a message does not allow you to reply to it, you will need to write a new one.
  3. Select the delete button (or similarly named button).
  4. Select Delete again to confirm that you want to delete the message. The message is moved to the Deleted folder. You can view drafts in the deleted messages by selecting Deleted from the view list at the top of the inbox.
