Find Care as a Guest

Your organization may allow you to find care (schedule an appointment) as a guest from their website. This process differs from the Find Care option in the patient portal, which allows you search for available care and schedule an appointment without signing in to a patient portal account first.

Complete the following steps to search for a care team, find a provider, and schedule an appointment as a guest:
  1. Find Care: Start finding care by searching for an appointment:
    1. On the Find Care With Us page, select Find Care as a Guest. The Find Care page is displayed.
    2. Select a specialty from the Specialty list (if applicable).
    3. Select a type of appointment from the Type of Appointment list.
    4. Select Search. The Select a Provider (or similarly named) page is displayed with a list of matching providers.
  2. Select a Provider (or similar name): View next availability across matching providers and locations.
    1. Optionally, select Filters to adjust preferences and refine results.
    2. Select the Select Provider button to continue scheduling with a particular provider.
    3. Alternatively, select Skip if you want to see the additional available dates and times for all providers.
  3. Select Date and Time (or similar name): On the Select Date and Time page, the first available appointment with the chosen provider is preselected. Review the location and adjust the appointment selection as needed, then select Schedule Appointment.

    Note:

    If you skipped the previous step, this Select Availability page is displayed, which includes a list of providers for the dates and location you select.
    1. In the Show Dates From box, select or enter a date to narrow your search results to appointments on or after that date.
    2. In the Location box, optionally update the location if you want to change your search to show appointments for a different location (when available).
    3. From the list of appointment times, select a time button for the date and location you want.
  4. Enter Patient's Details: Enter the details for the patient being seen in this appointment, including name, date of birth, and email address. A one-time passcode is sent to the email address you enter.
  5. Verify Your Identity: Enter the one-time passcode and select Verify.
  6. Review Appointment Details: Review the appointment details and complete some additional details
    1. Enter the reason for this appointment.
    2. Select Yes or No to indicate whether you plan to use insurance for this appointment.
    3. Select Schedule when you are ready to book the appointment.
  7. From the confirmation page that is displayed, review the appointment details.
  8. Optionally, select Add to Calendar to download a calendar file. (See your calendar software for information about how to add these files to your calendar. This process might involve opening it from your calendar tool and saving it.)
