3 Visits
You can view current and past appointments, view clinical notes and visit summaries, and schedule new, return, and repeat appointments. You can also reschedule or cancel an appointment.
Note:
Visits are displayed for the currently selected profile only. If you manage profiles for others, select the Switch Profile menu (your name) at the top of the page to switch another profile. See Switch Profile Menu for more information.To access the Visits page, select Visits on the Ask Oracle menu . The Visits page includes the following sections:
- Upcoming Visits: List of your future appointments.
- Past Visits: List of your past appointments, including completed and missed appointments.
Select any appointment to view its details or complete additional available actions.
- Today Dashboard
The Today dashboard displays a list of upcoming appointments, recent results, and activities to focus on today. - View Visit Details
You can view appointments details from the Appointments dashboard. - View Clinical Notes for a Past Visit
Clinical notes might be available for a completed visit with a care team. Clinical notes can include any information or documents provided by the care team, such as discharge instructions, history and physical, procedure notes, or consultations. - View the Visit Summary for a Past Visit
Visit summaries are documents created by Patient Portal after a patient's visit with a care team. Visit summaries can provide an overview of what occurred during the visit in relation to your overall health history. - Schedule a New Visit
You can schedule a new appointment with your provider. Depending on the appointment type and your healthcare organization's settings, the workflow might be slightly different. - Manage and Schedule Favorite Visits
You can set appointment types as favorites so that you can quickly schedule that appointment type again. - Find Care as a Guest
Your organization may allow you to find care (schedule an appointment) as a guest from their website. This process differs from the Find Care option in the patient portal, which allows you search for available care and schedule an appointment without signing in to a patient portal account first. - Schedule a Return Visit With an Existing Provider
Once you have seen a provider, you can schedule a return visit with that provider. This feature is useful when scheduling follow-up appointments. - Book Again a Completed Visit
The book again feature allows you to schedule a new occurrence of a completed appointment. This option saves you time by filling in many of the appointment details for you. - Reschedule an Upcoming Visit
Depending on your healthcare organization and account settings, you may be able to directly self-reschedule an upcoming (but not yet completed) scheduled appointment with the same provider. - Pay an Outstanding Balance
If you have an outstanding balance (unpaid bills), the Today dashboard displays the balance with a Pay Now button. - Get Ready and Arrival
The Patient Portal get-ready and arrival processes allow you to confirm your details and prepare for your appointment. The time frames, steps required, button names, and page headings are all dependent on your healthcare organization and settings. - Cancel an Upcoming Visit
Depending on your healthcare organization and account settings, you may be able to directly cancel an upcoming (but not yet completed) scheduled appointment.
