Book Again a Completed Visit in Patient Portal

The book again feature allows you to schedule a new occurrence of a completed appointment.

This option saves you time by filling in many of the appointment details for you, such as the appointment type and provider.

Note:

Depending on the visit type and provider, this workflow might vary.
  • If you use Ask Oracle, your workflow may vary from the steps below.
  • Call the provider's office if you are unable to schedule online.
To book a completed (non-canceled, non-missed) appointment again:
  1. If you manage multiple connected health profiles, optionally switch to a different health profile.
  2. From the navigation menu, select Visits.
  3. Select the Past tab to view your list of completed visits.
  4. Select the appointment you want to book again.
    The visit details are displayed.
  5. Select Book Again (or similarly named button), typically displayed in the upper-right corner.
    The scheduling workflow is displayed with some items automatically prefilled from your past visit.

  6. In the Appointment Reason box, enter a reason for the visit,
  7. Optionally, update location as needed.
  8. Select a date, and then select one of the time slots available for that date.
  9. Select Schedule Appointment to schedule the visit.
    A confirmation page is displayed with the details of the visit.
  10. Optionally, select Add to Calendar Add to Calendar to add the visit to your personal calendar.
