Configuring Membership Types

Membership types are configured for the loyalty programs that are available and possibly managed by OPERA Cloud for loyalty point calculation. Membership types define the properties of the loyalty program and the desired behavior when working with profiles and reservations with the membership type available or selected.

Membership details are saved on a guest profile and one or more membership types can be selected for a reservation at the time of booking or at check-in. Membership types are linked to a membership class such as Frequent Guest or Frequent Flyer; OPERA Cloud permits one membership type per membership class to be selected for a reservation - enabling 'double dipping' across membership classes.

For each membership type you can configure the various membership levels, such as Platinum, Gold, Silver and setup a message to output on the folio on settlement of the reservation account.

With an Oracle Hospitality OPERA Cloud Loyalty subscription, advanced tier management, point calculation and redemption functionality is available. For more information, see Membership (Loyalty Cloud Service)

Adding Membership Types

  1. From the Administration menu, select Client Relations, then Membership Management, then Membership Types.

  2. Click New and complete the following

Editing Membership Types

  1. From the Administration menu, select Client Relations, then Membership Management, then Membership Types.

  2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

  3. Select the membership type and click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Edit.

  4. Update the details in each panel.

  5. Click Save.

Deleting Membership Types

  1. From the Administration menu, select Client Relations, then Membership Management, then Membership Types.

  2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

  3. Select the membership type and click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Delete.

  4. Click Delete to confirm.
